There is a big difference between prospecting and attraction marketing and one of the main differences is the speed in which you can get a person interested enough you need to start working. Prospecting is a lot quicker where as attraction marketing you have to put the time and effort in.

Prospecting is more proactive belly to belly, going out in front of people whereas Attraction Marketing, once all the elements have been put in place is more reactive, so as people find you, you then position yourself to help them.

The Truth About Network Marketing

The biggest mistake people make when Network Marketing within our industry is they want to get straight into Attraction Marketing not realising it will take time to build up, so in order to get the initial cash flow in their business and start building a team of

distributors, they have to go out and proactively prospect people. Network Marketing has and always will be a peoples business. So whether you’re going out there talking to people face-to-face or you are building relationships with people by adding value to them so that they eventually be attracted to you, it is all about people.

I believe they both work hand in hand, so as you are adding value to people by giving them valuable content, at the same time you should be going out there prospecting people as well, so that eventually you should be getting leads from all angles. The biggest mistake a person can make in Network Marketing is to not Prospect and just focus on Attraction Marketing, because that is the quickest way not to make any money.

Both are very powerful and both hold their own merits, but there has to be a balance.

This is why it is so important for a person in our industry of Network Marketing to be properly trained because there is so much and miss information out there and so many people give out a bunch of hype. If people are not trained properly, they can waste a lot of time and a lot of money going after fantasies that never materialise.
