Success in network marketing is more psychological than anything else, A person has to defeat all the giants of doubt, failure and fear of the unknown, if they are able to do that this is the first step to their success.
Many people missed the mark because they enter the battle with the wrong clothes on!
Their minds are stuck in a certain pattern of thinking, which stops them from stepping out of that box and reaching their full potential.
There is a reason why only a select amount of people will be successful in network 
marketing, and that reason is because it’s too easy to get in and it’s too easy to get out. You see the road to financial freedom is narrow and straight, but the road to financial slavery is broad and wide.
People need to change the way they think, because if they choose not to change the way they think, they will always get the same results they have been getting up until this point.
A good network marketing opportunity is the best disguise of a personal development life program there is.
In the 6 1/2 years of mentoring people within this industry, I have seen people with great potential amount to nothing and people that thought they couldn’t do anything achieve great things.
So why should a person even address this?
Well one good reason is 98% of our population will be either dead or dead broke by the age of 65, another reason is pensions/401K’s are falling over all the time and so people think that they have a certain amount of money put away for the future, but it ends up being nothing at all that they can live on.
As people get older the financial strains of how they are
going to look after themselves become more apparent, but on top of that as well is an ageing body that comes with different health concerns.
How a person thinks will not only affect their pocket, it will also affect their health. Lets face it, we only have one body for a limited time, so we need to look after it.
The baby boomers are one group of people that are focusing on these issues because they have got to the stage of life where they have been forced to look at them.
The Journey To Changing Your The Way You Think
Every journey has a starting point, and the starting point for somebody who wants to change the way they think, is the quality of the information they put into their head. This is where the type of books you read, the type of things you watch, the type of things you listen to, all play a part in how your thinking develops. This is why one of the things that I did for my team is, I created a training site for them, which incorporates a lot of motivational videos and training, motivational talks, positive elements, so that they can now begin that journey in transforming their mind, because once that is correct, their business will be correct also.
In our industry ‘yes’ you have to learn how to market yourself, ‘yes’ you have to put the effort in and ‘yes’ you have to learn people skills, but the mental growth behind a successful network marketing organisation is the foundational building blocks. The lack of development in this area will cause people 100% of the time, to quit.
There is a phrase that says “the mind is a terrible thing to waste”, however in our business I think a more accurate phrase is: “the lack of development in the mind causes a lot of wasted opportunities!”
